Sypnopsis Of The 3rd RA Meeting (5th August 2007)

The main topics of the 3rd RA meeting comprises the following:-
1. Updates on previous issues submitted
- this is mainly to highlight to all committee members in attendance of all the RA's activities to date to bring all members to the same page and to be equally informed.

2. Official registration of TMP RA and petition drive campaign for majority mandate.
- All attendees were informed of the RA's objective of registration with the R.O.S (Registrar Of Society) which is required to form a RA that will be recognized by the relevant authority.
- With the above in mind the RA proposed a petition drive by all committee members to obtain a majority of 85% of residents signatures by the 12th August 2007. The proposal was met with great enthusiasm and all members present volunteered unanimously to begin the campaign. Petition forms were distributed to the committee members whom will start immediately in the respective street assigned.

3. Mesra rakyat get-together (Mooncake festival)
- The RA put forth this suggestion as the moon cake festival presented the RA an opportunity to organize an event that will get all the residents together which is consistent with the "One Voice, One Comminity" motto. For this event to take place the RA will approach the relevant authorities for the funds needed to organize such an event. (The RA will confirm the date once the proper preparation is in place, so stay tuned fellow residents).

4. Future RA meeting venues
- The RA proposed that all future RA meetings/gatherings is to be held in rotational format in all the committee members houses. Besides the obvious reason of more comfort as compared with the maintenance office, it is also a great way to promote good neighbourly behaviour and for all RA committee members to lead by example.

5. Reshuffling of TMP RA positions to better serve TMP residents in a more proper and efficient manner.
- The above step was necessary in anticipation of the many obstacles the RA is presented with currently and will encounter in the future. The reshuffling involves the position of the Chairman, Secretary and Assistant Secretary posts.
- The above reshuffling was suggested and seconded unanimously by all that were present.

All committee members left with a smile on their faces and with a greater sense of purpose and believe that we are united in representing the "One Voice, One Community" motto.
