MPSJ Installing Floodlights In Central Park TMP

Kudos to MPSJ for installing the said floodlights requested quite some time ago. The wait though long overdue is timely as this will facilitate the many events that has already started especially activities like Zhineng Qi Gong where there are more than 30 residents participating. Park activities can now extend beyond 7.30 PM and this is to the benefit of all residents in TMP.

Three cheers to MPSJ and the environment and maintenance sub committee of the RA :)

Ilegal Dumping In TNB TOL Area

I am using the word "illegal" here primarily because as far as I am concerned this area is not a gazetted dumping site. As you can see from this single picture I had taken and posted just to highlight this growing concern, backdrop of the picture you will be able to see clearly the houses of Taman Mutiara Puchong.

This is to indicate the location of the road where you can see garbage and waste materials strewn all along the road side tucked away behind the trees lining this road. I have already submitted a complaint to MPSJ using the online complaint portal through Responz located in MPSJ Homepage

For more pictures to prove the gravity of this growing concern please click on this link ILLEGAL DUMPING

Also to note in the pictures you will also be able to notice that the "longkang" wall has already crumbled and bricks and mortar strewn all over as well, showing proof of heavy vehicle activity in this specific area. This concern have been forwarded as well, and I am looking forward to a positive reply from MPSJ enforcement division handling the above category of complaints accordingly.

If you have any complaints please exercise your rights as a resident by forwarding a complaint through MPSJ online portal. Let us help them help us by forwarding relevant and pertinent complaints in numbers to justify action to be taken immeidately.

Additional Related News: Fire in the same location caused by burning of the same rubbish mentioned above.

UPDATES......
I am very happy to inform that today on the 5th June 2008, MPSJ have already sent their taskforce to clear up the rubbish mentioned in this post (within a week) action was taken.
Kudos once again to MPSJ for their quick response.

Impromptu Gotong Royong 19.05.08/6.00 PM

Above picture slides showing volunteer residents hard at work clearing shrubs and bushes to eliminate all possible blind spots in the vicinity of the entrance as well as junctions noticable in TMP.

This is to enhance safety and to prevent accidents from occuring as the saying goes "Prevention is better than a cure". This activity was organised as soon as a resident informed the RA that a very close shave was encountered due to the blind spot and luckily an accident was avoided.

The RA in TMP consists of residents equally concerned like any other residents that understand the meaning of communal living concept where teamwork is important and sharing of resources is strongly encouraged to maintain and to enhance living conditions in TMP for the betterment of all especially the next younger generations. They will reap all the benefits we sow today for a better tomorrow.

Kudos to all the caring residents in TMP and may the number of such residents rise futher to strengthen the community spirit in TMP.

The RA would also like the local authority especially MPSJ to look into maintaining this area of concern more regularly and to ensure that these dangerous corners as well as windy roads have speed breakers and proper signages to highlight the dangers in order to prevent rather than to cure.

The RA have previously submitted requests pertaining speed breakers and additional lighting for these road/s but to date we are still awaiting a favorable response. Indeed we are looking for a positive response after months of patience and again urge MPSJ to implement immediate measures before any untoward accident/s happen.

A Computer For TMPCC

It is just so refreshing to know that there are more and more residents in TMP coming forward and providing the necessary support by sharing resources with the community through the RA.

The said computer with a 17" monitor (Pentium 4) is a contribution by Dr.Kuang from Phase 3A. Such contribution is timely as to equip the office with the necessity without incurring additional expenditure for the purchase of such equipments.

One of the main objectives of the RA is to always keep costs low and manageable hence when residents come forward to share and assist, it is always a real motivation and a sense of community spirit truly running through TMP.

Again it is cheers to these caring residents whom are unselfish to share for the betterment of all. Hip hip hooray!!!

Crime Prevention Seminar

Safety and Security are always important factors in our daily lives hence the RA sub-committee headed by Dr.Kuang, Murali, Gerard and Alan came up with the idea of having a crime prevention seminar to enhance a better relationship with the police force by having such an event.

The event was held at TMPCC on the 10th May 2008 @ 8.00 PM and the seminar was conducted by Tuan Manor whom the RA of TMP is very appreciative for taking the time to conduct such a seminar and to share valuable information with residents pertaining crime prevention.

Residents in attendance gained much valuable information and have a better understanding of how prevention is always better than a cure.

Qi Gong Classes Starting in TMP

On the 9th May 2008 @ 8.00 PM the RA of TMP organised a talk by a Qi Gong instructor Mrs.Patricia Wong to introduce the art of Qi Gong and to explain the fundamentals (health benefits) of Qi Gong to all attendees.

Attendance was encouraging with more than 30 residents turning up for the seminar introducing Qi Gong for healthy living. Classes will commence on the 16th May 2008 @ 8.00 PM. Notices have been put up at TMPCC and all residents interested to join please contact the numbers previously provided in this blog. At this point more than 20 residents have already registered for the Qi Gong classes and more are expected to join the fray as it is known that having Qi Gong classes consistently will ensure and guarantee better health and vitality.

A point to note is that Mrs.Patricia Wong belongs to a very recognised Qi Gong establishment and have been practicing the art for more than 13 years since 1995, and have since helped hundreds of students improved their health. She is assisted by many voluntary instructors in her quest to help more people to be in control of their health via Qi Gong.

TMPCC Signboards and Notice Boards (Contribution by a resident in TMP)

The RA would like to thank Mr.Hew of TMP 4 for his kind sponsorship of the TMPCC signboard and the notice boards (4 units). Mr.Hew is a true example of what a model resident should be contributing for the betterment of the community.

The RA of TMP encourages such practices as such unselfish acts can only bring more harmony and nurture a society/community that place more emphasis of sharing and caring as oppose to the dogmatic approach of the selfish and unconcerned attitude we usually encounter.

3 cheers to residents that have come out and got themselves involved for the betterment of the community. Your support will ensure and guarantee TMP's success in maintaining a decent and secure living environment that can be maintained for the future generations to enjoy :)

Charity Bin Now Available In TMP....(Toys/Clothes/Etc)

The charity bin is located along Jalan TMP 2A, facing the TMPCC row of houses. You cannot miss it. The RA would like to thank Mr.Eadon from Pertubuhan Amal Seri Sinar for responding to the request of having a bin placed for the convenience of the residents in TMP to dispose of their used items like toys, clothes and any other materials or items that can still be used by the under privileged like the old folks and the orphans.
Please take note that other recyclable materials like old newspaper, magazines, cardboard boxes, aluminium cans and bottles are to be forwarded to TMPCC and have to be separated from this charity bin.

Please do not put into the bin items that are of no use just because you want to dump it. Be considerate and be a responsible resident of TMP. Kudos to the RA again for providing something that is of a benefit to the residents and at the same time assisting the needy in the process. A win-win for all and a charitable cause that we can all be a part of.

Qi Gong & Line Dancing In TMP

Dear all owners / residents,

We have a line up of activities for TMP residents.

We are starting Qi Gong and Line Dance lessons very soon as per attached.
Please register with Adeline and Su Minn (H/P as per attachment) if you wish
to join. Monthly fee is RM10 for Qi Gong and RM30 for Line Dance. Initial
fee is slightly higher to cover uniforms etc. For health or for slimming or
to know thy neighbour, it's a good reason to join. We are limiting
participants to TMP residents only for the moment as we have to give
residents the priority.

We have also arranged a "Crime Prevention Talk" by a Police Chief on 10th
May 8pm at TMP- Community Centre at No.60, Jalan TMP 4, as security is useless
if we expose our weaknesses to intruders / kidnappers / molesters etc. The
banner is at guard house exit gate.

On going is the old newspaper / magazines recycling campaign for fund
raising. Please bring your old newspaper / magazines to the collection
centre at TMP-CC. In the pipe line is fruit-tree planting campaign through
MPSJ. We will keep you updated if you wish to adopt-a-tree.

Meanwhile please do not forget to pay your service charge to the Residents'
Association to manage TMP in order to make the community a conducive place
to call home.

Hope to see you as per activities scheduled. For further information please kindly call the Community Centre @ 03-80629829 or download the attcahed flyer with the contact numbers of the volunteers to contact.

Yours Sincerely

Steven Poh
Chairman
TMP Resident Association
