To Scoop or not the Poop? (Dog Owners in TMP) by MOJO

Hi! My name is Mojo and I am a Beagle residing in TMP. I am only 10 weeks old and my favorite past time is to sleep, eat, pee and poop.
I am allowed these luxuries as I am still a puppy but in my short existence to date I am well aware of the environment through my highly reknown ability to sniff out things not visible to the eye.
I cannot wait to grow up and ultimately enjoy more freedom, going for walks with my owner to the playground and also to visit my canine buddies within TMP.
Of course I am also aware that I have many new friends to make especially with all the nice children whom will always adore my personality, woof woof! Just a few tips my owner would like me to highlight is that it will be nice if we could all work hand in hand to ensure that my poop and my canine buddies poop be scooped (picked up and place in a bag) to be disposed of in a proper fashion. This is important not only to us doggies in TMP, but equally important to all my young human friends to avoid infecting each other with unnecessary ailments due to our poop being littered on all the grassy common area. Besides it is known that our poop including your poop will attract many insects of nasty nature like flies which will breed maggots. If I had appendages like my human owner I would be the first to pick up my poop, however I do not so I need every dog owners assistance to maintain hygiene and cleanliness in common areas free of our poop.
Some of my canine buddies through the grapevine did mention some owners not exercising such responsibility by taking them to common areas and allowing them to poop all over the neighbours lawn. This is not a nice thing as I believe no residents in TMP would want to go out and find a chunk of doggy poop in their premises, especially when they do not own a dog. I even have a big black canine buddy in the neighbourhood bragging about his illustrious freedom when his owner lets him out everynight to roam freely and to poop where he pleases, usually he poops on someone elses lawn and not his own. I totally disagree with this and honestly most of my canine friends feel very embarassed about leaving their poop behind. Let us all start practicing scooping the poop and together we can all have a cleaner and happier environment to live in......woof woof woof!!!

  1. I strongly agree to this as i do carry a plastic bag with me whenever i'm walking my dog and it's our duty to keep the garden clean not just our house area. But most of our residents don't really care except for themselves.

  2. It is refreshing to know that within TMP exist a responsible and caring dog owner and I sincerely encourage the rest of the dog owners to come out in numbers and make it a point to lead by example.
I believe in consistent education and in a community like TMP it does not take much of an effort for us all to do the right thing. Learn to care for others as you care for your own, in a gated community there has to be a better understanding of what is right and wrong, common sense by the common people hopefully will prevail.
