It gives me great pleasure to officially announce the launch of the TMP Community Suggestion Box by the TMP RA (Resident Association) Committee.This is the first visible endeavor by the RA to start the process of giving an outlet to all TMP residents to contribute by voicing out constructive suggestions and highlight any issues that needs to be addressed or to be brought to the attention of the RA committee, with the main purpose of having a majority voice to improve the living standards within the community.
The committee have taken the initiative to get things on a roll and the effort to date was made possible by individual contributions of RM 50 per committee member to start a fund that will be used for such projects. This will be the start of many more little steps the RA committee will take to increase awareness and to also educate the community that every single residents contribution is as important as your neighbours.
The RA will distribute a suggestion form to all residents via mail drop by the 22/07/07. The RA sincerely encourage all residents to provide as many constructive feedbacks as possible.
Help us to help you and together we will create a better and healthier living environment in the community that all residents can be proud of and most importantly feel safe to live in for your family, especially your children.
Our home is within the community, and not within the four walls of our home. Let us start thinking and behaving in a way that will contribute positively to all.

ReplyDeleteReally appreciate with the great job that our commitees have done so far. I think our developer is not looking into our concerns and issues seriously. Having guards who are not serious in performing their works will only cause more problems to us. They shall not find reasons to reduce costs at the expense of our wellfare and safety.
Low fencing is obviously another critical issue overlooked by the developer or perhaps another costs down development. What is the security means to us anymore?
We as residents have been impressed with various facilties mentioned but many of the promises have not been fulfilled. Take the garden as an example, looking at the initial plan there supposed to have four rest house but now only two. Many planted trees were actually dying and no actions have been taken to replace and beautify the garden. Not forgeting seeing ugly landscape in phase 3 and also the empty area besides our guard house when entering our homes. We have enough evidence that developer has not put serious efforts and has been very dissappointing.
In fact, i also lost my laptop within my own compound last two weeks. I parked my car outside the main gate and laptop placed in bonnet was stolen in less than 10 mins (Went in and came out from my house). This show that guards have been letting people simply going in and out of our community without checking their identity.
TMP can be a good place to stay if the managements do a good job and just by doing little more to our community.
Hope that we will increase more awareness among the residents and creating a clean and peaceful community :)

ReplyDeleteJust wondering in what circumstances was the RA formed? was there a meeting initiated and were all residents being informed about the first RA?
I heard there was a notice board being place somewhere. Another good suggestion! some are just too busy or unaware of the RA meeting. It will be good to have the minutes and other related news [e.g. results of the 4 polls we are having currently, schedule of the RA meeting] posted on the board.

To answer your question as to how our committee was formed, we intially distributed flyers to all homes inviting all residents to join us in our meeting at the Gazebo, as that was the only means of communication at that time. We had a good attendance and support from 72 residents. To know more, click on the July archive and read all about it.
ReplyDeleteYes, notice board is COMING!!! When...we are not sure...we are PUSHING THEM for it....ASAP. Apparently the measurements have been taken and sent for fabrication...we shall see.....It will be placed either at the Gazebo or the main Garden Walkway.
Basically our Blog is most up to date notice board in cyberspace. We are all trying to go paperless..save some trees for our Garden-eh...
