Thanks to Michael & Harriet Yeoh for setting up & maintaining this blog. The next move is to spread the news to all TMP residents to use this media for TMP related info exchange. I'll initiate an email to all residents whose email addresses were available about this blog.
ReplyDeleteThe RA Committee Meeting this evening was very fruitful. Some of the touching suggestions were the activation of the suggestion box / banner at the TMP guard house, notice board at the gazebo, a whistle for every household, and neighbours to check with the house owner whenever the alarm siren blared to ensure things are OK or just false alarm. This is our community, the place we call home. So let's make it conducive to stay and to know more of our neighbours.

well done ! still there are a lot of weak points need to rectify. especially the entrance barrier, that has been out of order for nearly a week but there still no sign of replacing........ could we ask the management to improve the system?

On behalf of our RA committee, I would like to thank you for viewing the blog and posting your comments. We all know that the barrier and its touch sensor malfunctions all the time. The quality of the barrier is in doubt and we have brought this issue to the managements attention. We will continue to "bug" them on this and many other pertinent issues as per highlighted in the minutes of our last meeting until all matters has been resolved.....keep a look out on our updates and keep those comments and suggestions coming in.

It is very nice move to have this blog and have our suggestions and complaints to be aired.
ReplyDeleteI had been to the Phase 3 houses just 2 days ago and I was shocked to see how the Kongsi Indonesians were happily jumping on and off the fence. This fence is not the defintion of safe and guarded housing area. Wall should surround the whole TMP. YTL manager was very quick to suggest that they build up a wall for safety of the residents there. We need such committed people from MALTON.
Since past few days with the entrance barrier disappearing, I have even noticed the guards have been also too relaxed in their work instead of being nore vigilant...
The sensors in my house were repaired thrice and they still don't work. Infact the ones that were working have also stopped. And some security sensor wires are inside the wall and the security firm can't detect where the wires are. This meant hacking the walls from my staircase upto the door. We came to know after my whole house was done up. Also with Phase 1 people having maximum problems, the management should compensate for whatever problems we are still facing.

The management need to agree to some basic terms on the entrance barrier repair time. Eg. it must be repaired by 48 hours whenever it breaks down. No point advertising as guarded when the door is wide open for all to enter.
ReplyDeleteAnother great job and well done!
ReplyDeleteI've seen some improvement on the barrier either by the management or the guard themselves, but would it be nicer if the management replace the barrier with an appropriate length instead extending the barrier with a PVC conduit tied to it ?
I think the management is having a very lame excuse on the budget for security. Are we staying in a low cost area?
We also should not just rely on the security system, but to help one another as one community, know your neighbour and make one voice one community as our moto.
Regards
KL Chan
