2nd flooding in Taman Mutiara Puchong (2.02.2008)
Sighhhhhhh!!! I honestly feel very flabbergasted why residents in Taman Mutiara Puchong have to endure another round of the same anxiety and unnecessary worry of flood water coming into the house all over again......for the second time in less than 5 months.
Is it the same reason we were given before that the flood water gate was not manned again? Or is it because the said water drainage system surrounding the taman not efficient enough to assist water outflow.......or some other reason which we do not know about?
Well we can speculate as much as we can but I believe the relevant authorities will definitely know exactly what has happened and what needs to be done to recitfy and to prevent a similar incident from happening again, which in this case and hopefully not for the 3rd (third) time.
After the 1st incident on the very first day of Hari Raya 2007 (13th October)we were informed that proper measures were taken and such an incident will not occur again...........however this is not the case now.
I strongly urge all relevant authorities to work hand in hand to get to the bottom of this and to assure all residents in Taman Mutiara Puchong that such incident will never happen again, EVER.
We all pay rates, taxes and bank loans to live in developed housing area like in Taman Mutiara Puchong hence needless to say the last thing we do not expect is to be living in a housing development that can be flooded and dealing with unnecessary anxiety of the possibility of our homes being submerged and the fear of what will happen when the next downpour occurs.
